You can synchronize up to six recording devices simultaneously using the Bluetooth timecode transmission feature.
The effective range for reliable Bluetooth synchronization is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).
It requires a compatible camera, audio recorder, or app that has implemented the timecode over Bluetooth protocol. It does not require a proprietary Atomos app unless your connected device needs one for its own Bluetooth timecode feature.
For wireless sync, it relies on Bluetooth connectivity. However, it can connect to a long-range RF network for syncing with other Timecode Systems products, which may not rely on Bluetooth.
The UltraSync BLUE provides over 20 hours of battery life on a single charge.
The frame-accurate timecode is transmitted wirelessly and can be embedded directly into the media files of connected devices, which is recognized by all professional Non-Linear Editing (NLE) software.
The UltraSync BLUE is not designed to be waterproof. It should be protected from moisture and used in dry conditions.
Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB cable and check if the charging indicator lights up.
Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on both the UltraSync BLUE and your camera/device. Ensure both devices are within the 10-meter range. Restart both devices and try pairing again. Check if the target device supports timecode over Bluetooth.
Confirm that the UltraSync BLUE is within the optimal Bluetooth range. Check for any sources of significant Bluetooth interference. Ensure the firmware on both the UltraSync BLUE and the connected device is up-to-date.
Ensure the OLED display brightness is set to a reasonable level. Fully charge the battery before each use. If the issue persists, the battery may require service.
Confirm that the UltraSync BLUE and other RF devices are set to the same channel. Ensure they are within the operational range of the RF network. Check that all RF-enabled devices are powered on and functioning correctly.
