The B&Q Cafetiere French Press is designed for home baristas and coffee enthusiasts who prefer a full-bodied brew with deep flavor profiles. Its primary benefit is the double-wall construction, which maintains optimal brewing temperatures while keeping the exterior safe to touch. While it delivers an exceptional cup, it is important to note the 350ml capacity is better suited for individual servings rather than group entertaining.

Coarse grounds are highly recommended to ensure the best flavor extraction and to keep the filter working efficiently.
Your coffee grind might be too fine. Use a coarser grind setting next time to reduce resistance.
Ensure the filter mesh is correctly seated and tighten the nut on the plunger assembly to ensure a snug fit against the carafe walls.
Pre-heat the carafe by rinsing it with boiling water before adding your grounds.
Setting up the B&Q Cafetiere is straightforward. Ensure the filter assembly is tightly screwed onto the plunger rod before first use. While the unit is dishwasher-safe, hand washing with mild detergent and a soft sponge is recommended to maintain the exterior shine. Ensure the silicone seal around the filter is rinsed thoroughly after every use to prevent stale coffee oils from accumulating. Avoid using abrasive scouring pads, as these may scratch the silver finish.
