Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Plan your desired border layout (straight lines or gentle curves).
- Position the first edging section, ensuring the saw-tooth spike is aligned for insertion.
- Gently hammer the integrated spike into the ground until the desired height is achieved, keeping the top edge level.
- Connect subsequent sections using the provided metal pegs. Insert pegs into the pre-drilled holes or slots on the connecting edges and secure.
- Continue hammering spikes and connecting sections until the entire layout is complete.
Compatibility:
These borders are designed for general garden use with soil, grass, and mulch. They are compatible with most standard garden landscapes. For installation in exceptionally hard or rocky ground, consider pre-loosening the soil or using additional tools.
Care:
Clean the metal edging with a damp cloth as needed to remove dirt or debris. While designed for durability, periodic inspection for any signs of wear or potential rust is recommended, especially in coastal or highly humid environments. A light application of metal sealant can be considered for extended protection in aggressive conditions.
