This reel is primarily designed for coarse fishing; using it in saltwater may lead to corrosion unless it is thoroughly rinsed and maintained after every session.
The capacity is 0.18/240m, 0.20/200m, or 0.34/100m depending on the diameter of your line.
Yes, the handle is designed for convenience and can generally be swapped for left or right-hand retrieve.
Clean the folding hinge mechanism and apply a small drop of light machine oil.
Inspect the line roller for debris and ensure the line is spooled correctly under slight tension.
Unscrew the front drag cap, clean away any dirt or moisture, and ensure the internal washers are properly seated.
To ensure peak performance, spool your line carefully, ensuring even distribution across the aluminium spool. The NGT GTS 30 is compatible with various mono-filament and braided lines, provided they fall within the recommended capacity (e.g., 0.18mm to 0.34mm). After use in wet conditions, wipe the reel exterior with a clean, dry cloth to prevent debris accumulation. Periodically check the drag knob to ensure it remains free of grit, and keep the handle hinge lightly lubricated for smooth folding action.
