FAQs

Can I put the plates in the dishwasher?

No, the plates are fixed to the appliance. You should clean them by wiping with a soft, damp cloth once the unit has cooled down.

What kind of oil should I use for seasoning?

The grill comes with a non-stick coating and does not strictly require seasoning. However, you can lightly wipe with a high-smoke-point oil like avocado or grapeseed oil if desired.

Is it suitable for large steaks?

Yes, the 28x22cm surface is spacious enough to accommodate most standard-sized steaks comfortably.

How long does it take to preheat?

Typically, the grill reaches optimal cooking temperature within a few minutes, depending on the ambient temperature of your kitchen.

Can I use metal tongs to move food?

It is highly recommended to use silicone or wooden utensils to protect the non-stick coating from scratches.

Troubleshooting

Food is sticking to the plates

Ensure the plates are completely clean of previous residue and avoid using high-sugar glazes directly on the surface. Apply a light coating of oil if necessary.

Unit not heating up

Check the power cable connection and ensure the outlet is functional. Confirm that the appliance is switched on.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your grill, place the device on a flat, heat-resistant surface with adequate ventilation around the unit. Plug the device into a standard grounded outlet and allow it to preheat until the indicator light signals that the target temperature has been reached.

Care Instructions:

Always unplug the device and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the plates after each use.
Avoid using abrasive scouring pads, steel wool, or metal utensils, as these can damage the non-stick food-grade coating.
Never immerse the main body of the unit in water.
