Full details

The NGT 5L Water Container is designed for anglers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts who require a reliable and versatile water storage solution. Its primary benefit is the dual-cap system and flexible spout, which simplify filling and controlled pouring, though its rigid construction means it requires dedicated space in your pack compared to collapsible alternatives.

FAQs

Is the material BPA-free?

Yes, the NGT water container uses food-grade polymer material suitable for storing potable water.

Can I attach a different tap to this container?

The container features a specific tap connector cap designed for NGT accessories; ensure any third-party tap matches this thread size.

How should I store the flexible spout?

The spout can be stored inside the container if it is clean and dry, or tucked into a side pocket of your gear bag.

Can this be frozen?

It is not recommended to freeze this container as water expansion may crack the heavy-duty polymer.

What are the exact dimensions?

The container measures 31cm in length, 13cm in width, and 17.5cm in height.

Troubleshooting

The spout is leaking while pouring

Ensure the tap connector cap is screwed on tightly and the flexible spout is firmly pushed into the connector.

Difficult to remove the large cap

Check that the threads are clean and free of grit; if stubborn, wipe the threads with a damp cloth to provide better grip.

Pros and Cons

Cons

Rigid body takes up fixed space in gear bags

Requires manual cleaning of the spout attachment

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before your first use, rinse the interior with clean water to ensure the container is sanitized. When filling, use the large cap for fast intake and tighten securely. If you need to pour into a narrow container, swap the standard cap for the tap connector and attach the flexible spout. After your trip, empty any remaining water and allow the container to air dry completely with the cap off to prevent buildup. Avoid using abrasive sponges on the exterior to maintain the integrity of the polymer body.
