These grey flat cable clips by enTie are designed for electricians, DIY enthusiasts, and home renovators looking to secure 6mm2 twin and earth cabling during electrical installations. The primary benefit is a clean, organized, and code-compliant wiring setup that prevents sagging and damage to cable runs. A minor caveat is that these clips are specifically sized for 6mm2 twin and earth cables, so they may not fit thicker or significantly different cable profiles effectively.

These clips are designed primarily for interior wiring; for outdoor use, ensure they are protected from direct moisture and extreme weather conditions.
No, these clips are intended for use on wood, drywall, or masonry surfaces.
Yes, each clip features an integrated, high-quality nail designed for easy installation.
While it depends on the cable weight, it is standard practice to place clips every 30-50cm for a secure and tidy run.
The internal opening is 12mm, designed specifically to accommodate the standard diameter of 6mm2 twin and earth cable.
Yes, if you need to match your wall color perfectly, you can use standard interior wall paint over the plastic casing.
Use a masonry drill bit to create a pilot hole before inserting the clip or verify that the hammer speed is sufficient for the surface density.
Ensure you are using the correct gauge (6mm2). If the cable is too thin, the clip will not hold the cable firmly in place.
Ensure the nail is entering perpendicular to the surface and that the wood is not too soft or rotten to hold the fastener.
For installation, ensure the substrate is suitable for the nail material of the clip. For masonry applications, a small pilot hole or a high-impact hammer may be required to prevent the nail from bending. Do not over-tighten or use excessive force when hammering, as this may crush the cable jacket and damage the internal insulation. Store the remaining clips in a dry, cool environment to prevent oxidation of the metal nails. These clips are designed specifically for 6mm2 twin and earth configurations and should not be used as substitutes for conduit or other cable management systems where additional protection is required.
