These bulbs should be planted in the autumn to ensure they establish roots before the winter, ready for spring flowering.
Yes, they are excellent at naturalizing and can be left in the ground to return each year.
They prefer moist but well-drained soil. Avoid heavy clay soils that hold standing water.
This is a 25-pack of top-grade bulbs.
Yes, their compact 300mm height makes them perfect for pots and patio containers.
While not strictly required, a balanced bulb fertilizer can be added during the growing season to encourage stronger blooms.
Check that the soil is well-drained; if the soil is waterlogged, the bulbs may have rotted.
Ensure the bulbs were planted at the correct 10cm depth and are receiving adequate sunlight.
For the best results, plant the bulbs 10cm deep in soil that is consistently moist but possesses good drainage characteristics. They are highly adaptable to both full sun and partial shade locations. Ensure they are spaced adequately to allow for their 10cm spread. Once established, they require minimal intervention, though deadheading spent blooms can help the bulb direct energy into root and foliage development for the following year.
