Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting Up
- Time and Date: Pull out the crown to the first position to adjust the date, and to the second position to adjust the time. Rotate the crown until the correct time and date are set.
- Chronograph: The chronograph functions are operated by the top and bottom pushers. The top pusher starts and stops the timer, while the bottom pusher resets it.
Compatibility
The Seiko SSB477P1 is compatible with most wrist sizes due to its adjustable bracelet. Ensure the bracelet fits comfortably.
Care
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the case and bracelet. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives.
- Water Resistance: While the watch is water-resistant to 50m, avoid exposing it to extreme water pressure or temperatures.
- Battery: The battery should last for several years with normal use. Replace it when the watch stops functioning. It is recommended to take it to a professional watchmaker.
- Storage: Store your watch in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
