Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth before application. Use the cutting grid on the reverse of the film to measure and cut your required pieces. Peel back a small section of the backing paper and carefully align the film. Gradually peel off the backing while smoothing the film onto the surface using a felt edge smoother, working from the center outwards to remove air bubbles. The film is repositionable during this process. Trim excess film with a utility cutter.
Compatibility: This film adheres best to any flat, smooth, and non-porous surface. It is suitable for furniture, cabinet doors, worktops, and other interior surfaces. For areas exposed to moisture or moderate heat (e.g., around sinks, hobs, or behind radiators), it is advised to use a sealant around the edges to ensure long-term adhesion and prevent lifting.
Care: To maintain the film's appearance, wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining. Clean the surface regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface. The film is heat resistant up to 70°C, so avoid placing hot pans or dishes directly onto it.
