Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Choose Mounting Method: Decide whether to use the center mounting hole or adhesive tape.
- For Screw Mounting: Align the reflector with the desired surface and secure it with a single screw (not supplied) through the center hole. Ensure the screw is appropriate for the mounting material.
- For Tape Mounting: Clean the mounting surface thoroughly. Apply strong, suitable double-sided trim tape (not supplied) to the back of the reflector or the mounting surface. Press the reflector firmly into place.
Compatibility:
These reflectors are compatible with most flat or slightly curved surfaces found on vehicles, trailers, gates, fence posts, and other structures. They are suitable for use on wood, metal, plastic, and composite materials.
Care:
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the reflector surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, or road grime. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the reflective coating.
- Inspection: Regularly check that the reflector is securely attached and that the reflective surface is clear and undamaged. Replace if cracked or significantly degraded.
