The Axis Q3517-LVE Network Camera is a discreet and robust outdoor camera designed for superior performance in complex light conditions and extreme temperatures. It delivers unparalleled video quality with 5-megapixel resolution at full frame rate (up to 30 fps) and Forensic WDR for excellent detail in both bright and dark areas. Featuring Lightfinder technology, it provides sharp, color images in low light, and OptimizedIR ensures clear, low-noise video in complete darkness. Axis Zipstream technology optimizes storage and bandwidth by preserving important details while reducing data usage. This camera is built for reliability in harsh conditions, withstanding extreme temperatures from -50°C to 60°C (-58°F to 140°F). Its IP66, IP67, and NEMA 4X rated casing protects against water, corrosion, and dust. Electronic image stabilization keeps the picture steady against vibrations, and the casing is vandal-resistant with an IK10+ rating. For reliable power, it offers redundant DC power and Power over Ethernet. The camera includes configurable I/O ports for connecting external sensors and detectors to trigger alarms or actions. Dynamic overlays allow for adding text and images to the video stream. Free analytics software like AXIS Motion Guard and AXIS Fence Guard can be installed for motion detection and virtual fence monitoring. Installation is made easy with tools such as leveling assistant, auto rotation, remote zoom and focus, and straighten-image aid, along with flexible cable management.
