FAQs
What are the dimensions of the Alva toilet brush holder?
Please refer to the product's technical specifications or packaging for exact dimensions, as these can vary slightly.
Is the toilet brush included with the holder?
This product is for the toilet brush holder only; the toilet brush is typically sold separately.
Can I put the ceramic part in the dishwasher?
The ceramic holder can usually be cleaned in a dishwasher, but it is recommended to check the specific care instructions provided with your product to confirm.
How often should I clean the bamboo base?
Wipe the bamboo base with a dry or slightly damp cloth as needed. For maintenance of the finish, applying mineral oil every few months is recommended.
Will the bamboo base warp if it gets wet?
While bamboo is water-resistant, prolonged exposure to standing water can cause damage. It is best to wipe up any spills immediately and ensure the base is not left in excessively damp conditions.
Is the embossed pattern easy to clean?
Yes, the embossed pattern on the ceramic is integrated into the design and can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap, just like the rest of the ceramic surface.
Troubleshooting
Bamboo base looks dull or dry
Apply a small amount of food-safe mineral oil to a clean cloth and rub it into the bamboo. Wipe off any excess. Repeat as needed, typically every few months.
Ceramic holder has water marks
Wipe the ceramic holder with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
Holder feels unstable
Ensure the ceramic holder is seated correctly on the bamboo base. Make sure the floor surface beneath the base is flat and even.
