Full details

This guide is for artists, students, and hobbyists seeking a portable and complete set of colored pencils. The key benefit is the unique, compact wooden cylinder packaging that holds 12 distinct colors, offering convenience and a novel aesthetic. A caveat is that the wood casing, while charming, may be less durable than traditional metal or plastic cases. This pack contains two sets, each featuring 12 colored pencils housed within a functional, pencil-shaped wooden container.

FAQs

What material are the pencils made of?

The pencils themselves are made of wood, and they are housed within a wooden cylinder pencil-shaped box.

How many colors are included in each set?

Each set contains 12 distinct colored pencils.

Is the packaging durable?

The packaging is made of wood. While it offers a unique aesthetic and function, it may be less durable than metal or plastic cases and should be handled with care to avoid damage from drops.

Can I buy individual sets or only the pack of 2?

This specific product listing is for a 'Pack of 2'. Please check other listings for potential single-set availability.

What is the primary advantage of this pencil set?

The primary advantage is the unique, compact, and portable pencil-shaped wooden cylinder packaging that holds 12 colored pencils, offering both utility and a distinct visual appeal.

Do these pencils blend well?

Colored pencils vary in their blending capabilities based on pigment and binder. These pencils offer a standard performance for their type; experimentation with layering and blending techniques is recommended.

Troubleshooting

Pencil lead breaks easily

Apply lighter pressure when drawing. Ensure pencils are properly sharpened with a standard sharpener without over-sharpening.

Wooden cylinder is difficult to open or close

Ensure there is no debris inside the cylinder. Gently twist the cap while applying slight pressure. If stiffness persists, a very small amount of candle wax or graphite lubricant can be applied to the inner rim of the cylinder.

Colors appear less vibrant than expected

Experiment with layering colors or applying more pressure. The vibrancy can also depend on the paper type used.
