FAQs
Can I use traditional dusty chalk on this board?
This board is optimized for water-based chalk markers. Traditional dusty chalk may not provide a clear, vibrant writing experience.
Is the board magnetic?
No, this specific model does not feature a magnetic surface.
What tools are needed for installation?
You will typically need a screwdriver, a drill (depending on the wall surface), and a level to ensure the board is straight.
Can I mount this on a door?
Yes, provided the door is sturdy enough and the screws do not penetrate through to the other side.
How do I remove permanent marker if I accidentally used one?
Using a permanent marker may permanently stain the board. You can attempt to lift the ink by drawing over it with a dry-erase marker and wiping immediately, but results are not guaranteed.
Does the board come with markers?
Markers are not included; please purchase water-based chalk markers separately.
Troubleshooting
Marker ink is smearing during application
Ensure the board surface is completely dry before writing and verify that you are using high-quality water-based chalk markers.
Ghosting or faint marks remain after wiping
Use a fresh, damp cloth and apply light pressure. If ghosting persists, ensure no oil-based or permanent markers were used on the surface.
Board wobbles on the wall
Check that the mounting screws are tightened properly and ensure the wall anchors are correctly seated in the wall.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation is straightforward: use the provided mounting kit to secure the board to your wall, ensuring you use the correct anchors for your specific wall material (such as drywall or concrete).
Compatibility Note: This chalkboard is exclusively designed for use with water-based chalk markers. Avoid using permanent markers or oil-based paint pens, as these will permanently stain or damage the finish.
Care Instructions: To keep the surface performing at its best, clean the board after each use. Use a clean, soft cloth dampened with water to wipe away marker residue. For stubborn marks, ensure the cloth is clean; do not use abrasive sponges or chemical solvents, as these will degrade the writing surface over time.
