FAQs
Is the Nerf Dog Wishbone safe for puppies?
Yes, but it is best suited for puppies with adult teeth. Monitor your puppy closely as they play to ensure they do not try to swallow pieces.
Does the chicken scent ever wear off?
Over time, the scent will naturally fade due to exposure to air and saliva, though the toy remains a durable play tool.
Can this be used in the water?
Yes, the material is moisture-resistant and durable enough for water play, though it will not float as well as dedicated foam toys.
What is the size of the toy?
This model is 6.5 inches in length, making it ideal for a wide range of dog sizes from medium to large breeds.
How do I know when it's time to replace the toy?
Replace the toy if you notice large chunks missing, deep punctures, or if the structural integrity of the wishbone has been compromised.
Is the material toxic if swallowed?
The toy is made of durable, dog-safe materials, but it is not intended for consumption. If your dog swallows a large piece, contact your veterinarian.
Troubleshooting
Dog loses interest in the toy
Wash the toy with warm water to remove debris, which can help 'refresh' the scent properties of the material.
Visible signs of wear and tear
If pieces begin to chip off due to heavy chewing, the toy has reached the end of its life cycle and should be replaced for safety.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
There is no setup required for the Nerf Dog Super Scent Solid Core Wishbone; it is ready to use immediately out of the packaging. To ensure the longest lifespan of the product:
- Compatibility: Best suited for medium to large dogs with moderate to firm chewing habits.
- Cleaning: Simply rinse with warm, soapy water after each play session. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may strip the embedded chicken scent.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use to preserve the integrity of the material and the longevity of the scent.
- Safety Check: Regularly inspect the toy for deep cracks or missing chunks. If the toy becomes severely damaged, replace it immediately to prevent accidental ingestion of small pieces.
