The Bontrager NCS Mudguards are designed for cyclists seeking a quick, hassle-free mudguard installation that doesn't require cutting or complex adjustments. Ideal for road and gravel bikes with tire clearances between 28mm and 35mm, these mudguards offer excellent protection from spray. A potential caveat is that they are specifically designed for Bontrager Flare lights, limiting universal light compatibility. Key features include no-cut adjustable struts, integrated Blendr rear light mounts, and durable polycarbonate construction.

No, the Bontrager NCS Mudguards feature no-cut adjustable struts, meaning no metal stays need to be cut to size.
They are designed for 700c wheels with tire widths between 28mm and 35mm.
The integrated Blendr mount is specifically designed for Bontrager Flare series rear lights. Compatibility with other light brands may vary or require adapters.
Adjustments are made by loosening a couple of Allen bolts on the struts, repositioning the mudguard, and then re-tightening the bolts.
These are typically sold individually. You will need to purchase a front and a rear mudguard separately if you require both.
They are constructed from lightweight yet durable polycarbonate.
Clean them with mild soap and water using a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Ensure all mounting bolts and strut adjustment bolts are securely tightened. For the rear mudguard, confirm the double-back strut is properly seated and fastened.
Loosen the strut adjustment bolts and adjust the strut length to increase clearance between the mudguard and the tire. Re-tighten bolts once proper clearance is achieved.
The Blendr mount is designed for Bontrager Flare lights. For other light models, you may need to use alternative mounting solutions such as seatpost clamps or saddle rail mounts.
Confirm your tire size is within the 28mm to 35mm range. These mudguards are not designed for tires outside this specification.
Setup: The Bontrager NCS Mudguards are designed for straightforward installation. Ensure you have the appropriate Allen keys for the strut adjustment bolts. Position the mudguard and adjust the strut lengths using the bolts to achieve the desired tire clearance before fully tightening. The rear mudguard features a double-back strut for enhanced stability.
Compatibility: These mudguards are compatible with 700c wheels and tires ranging from 28mm to 35mm in width. The integrated Blendr mount is specifically designed for Bontrager Flare series rear lights. Check your frame's mounting points to ensure compatibility.
Care: Clean the mudguards with mild soap and water using a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the polycarbonate material. Regularly check that all mounting bolts and strut adjustment bolts remain tight.
