FAQs
What are the exact dimensions of the fruit basket?
The dimensions are H16 x D24 x W24 cm (Height 16 cm, Depth 24 cm, Width 24 cm).
Is the gold finish prone to chipping or peeling?
The matte gold finish is designed for durability, but like most finishes, it can be susceptible to chipping if subjected to significant impact. Proper care and handling will help maintain its appearance.
Can this fruit basket be used outdoors?
It is primarily designed for indoor use. Exposure to outdoor elements like moisture and direct sunlight may affect the finish and material over time.
How should I clean the geometric pattern?
The geometric pattern can be cleaned by gently wiping with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure you reach into the crevices to remove any dust or debris, then dry thoroughly.
Is the metal material rust-resistant?
While designed for kitchen use, it's best to keep the basket dry and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture to prevent any potential rust or discoloration over time.
Can I put hot items in the basket?
This basket is not designed to withstand high temperatures. Avoid placing hot items directly into it.
What is the weight capacity of the basket?
The product description does not specify a weight limit, but it is constructed from sturdy metal wire. Avoid overloading it to ensure longevity.
Troubleshooting
Basket feels unstable.
Ensure the basket is placed on a completely flat and level surface. Check if any of the wire legs are bent; gently adjust if necessary, being careful not to apply excessive force.
Matte gold finish appears dull or discolored.
This may be due to residue from cleaning agents or certain foods. Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive soap, then dry immediately with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
Fruit is not staying fresh.
Ensure adequate airflow by not overcrowding the basket. Remove any fruits that are showing signs of spoilage, as they can affect nearby produce. For optimal freshness, consider refrigerating certain fruits.
Small items (e.g., berries) might fall through the gaps.
Consider placing a small liner, such as a breathable cloth or a specially designed fruit basket liner, inside the basket to hold smaller items.
