Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install your Magura 7.S pads, first ensure the wheel is removed from the bike. Carefully remove the existing pads by unscrewing the included retaining bolts and sliding the old pads out. Before inserting the new 7.S pads, gently push the pistons back into the caliper using a plastic tire lever or dedicated tool to make room for the new, thicker pads.
Compatibility
These pads are strictly compatible with Magura MT 2-piston disc brake systems. They will not fit 4-piston calipers or brake systems from other manufacturers.
Care Tips
- Avoid using degreasers near your brake rotors, as residue can contaminate the organic pad material.
- If the brakes feel 'spongy', check for air in the line as the pad swap alone will not fix hydraulic pressure issues.
- Regularly clean the rotor with isopropyl alcohol to maintain the integrity of the pad surface.
