Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting the Time
- Pull the Crown: Gently pull the small knob (crown) on the side of the watch outwards. You may feel a subtle click.
- Adjust Time: Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise until the hour and minute hands indicate the correct time.
- Push the Crown In: Once the time is set, push the crown back in firmly until it clicks into its original position. This will start the watch (if it was stopped) and prevent accidental time changes.
Compatibility
This watch is designed for general wrist wear. The alloy bracelet is typically adjustable.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: To maintain its luster, wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For more thorough cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used on the metal parts, but ensure no moisture enters the watch mechanism. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
- Avoid Water: As a fashion watch, it is generally not water-resistant beyond minor splashes. Do not wear it while showering, swimming, or submerging it in water.
- Storage: When not in use, store your watch in a dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. A watch box or soft pouch is ideal to prevent scratches.
- Battery Replacement: The watch operates on a standard watch battery. When the watch stops, it indicates the battery needs replacement. This should typically be done by a professional watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and function. > Info needed: Specific battery type.
