The VEVOR Hydraulic Tube Expander (CT-300A) is an essential tool for HVAC technicians and plumbing professionals seeking an efficient way to swage and expand metal tubing. It is designed to handle a variety of materials including soft copper, aluminum, titanium, and soft steel, delivering professional-grade expansion with minimal manual effort thanks to its integrated hydraulic system. While this tool excels at creating precise, uniform connections for high-pressure systems, users should note that it is strictly intended for soft metals and should not be used on hardened or tempered steel pipes.

It is intended for soft steel pipes only. Do not use it on hardened or tempered high-strength steel as it may damage the expansion heads.
Yes, a durable molded carrying case is included to house the hydraulic tool, heads, cutter, and deburring tool.
The kit includes 7 expansion heads ranging from 3/8 inch to 1-1/8 inch.
This tool is designed for HVAC and plumbing applications. Using it for automotive brake lines may not meet the specific flare standards required for hydraulic braking systems.
The handle is designed for heavy-duty use, but you should contact customer support if you experience structural failure due to a defect.
Ensure the head is fully threaded onto the hydraulic assembly and that the pipe is inserted to the correct depth.
Check the release trigger to ensure it is completely closed; if it remains loose, the system may have an air pocket that requires bleeding.
Ensure the release trigger is fully engaged to retract the internal ram before pulling the tool away from the pipe.
To begin, select the expansion head matching your tube diameter and screw it firmly onto the hydraulic ram. Ensure the pipe is fully deburred using the provided tool to avoid material stress. Always maintain the tool by keeping the hydraulic threads clean and free of debris. Store the device in its carrying case in a dry environment to prevent corrosion. For best results, occasionally wipe the hydraulic shaft with a light machine oil to ensure smooth operation of the pressure release trigger. Compatibility is limited to soft materials; check your pipe specifications before attempting to expand thick-walled or high-carbon steel.
