Product Information

Full details

The Shires 3 Ring Dutch Gag features a French link, offering an alternative to traditional nutcracker bits by applying pressure to both sides of the tongue. This design can be more comfortable for horses with low palates, as the mouthpiece is less likely to contact the palate during use. The three rings provide leverage options to adjust the severity. Constructed from durable, easy-to-clean, tasteless, and rust-resistant stainless steel. Available sizes: 4.5", 5.0", 5.5", 6.0". Mouthpiece Thickness: 16 mm. Cheek Height: 150 mm (for 4.5"/5.0" lengths) or 180 mm (for 5.5"/6.0").
