Full details
This Makita Power Source kit is ideal for users with a collection of Makita Li-Ion cordless tools who frequently need extra batteries and chargers. It includes a Makpac carry case with an inlay designed to hold up to 4 batteries and a charger. The set comprises 4 x 5.0Ah BL1850 Lithium Ion Batteries, 1 x DC18RC Fast Charger, and 1 x Makpac Case with Inlay. The BL1850 LXT Lithium-Ion battery and its optimal charging system offer 280% total lifetime work with double the cycles. Its 5x lower self-discharge rate ensures batteries remain active and ready for use, even after extended storage. Batteries can be charged at any time without affecting their performance. Built-in shock-absorbing features protect the battery, and sixteen firm-holding contact terminals minimize power loss or fluctuation in high-vibration environments. The battery's integrated Memory Chip communicates with the charger, utilizing 3 Active Controls (Current, Voltage, Thermal) to maximize battery life. This battery is compatible with all Makita 18-volt LXT Li-ion machines. It features a 45-minute charge time with existing DC18RA and DC18RC chargers. Through two-way communication between the charger and battery, the charger can recognize the battery, recall its charging history, analyze its condition and usage, and charge it accordingly. Makita STAR Protection Computer Controls protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating by monitoring conditions and exchanging data in real time. Look for Makita tools and batteries with STAR protection for these enhanced features.
