FAQs

Is this necklace suitable for sensitive skin?

The necklace is silver-tone plated. If you have known allergies to base metals, it is recommended to test the piece carefully or consult with a jeweler.

Can I wear this in the shower or pool?

It is not recommended to wear the necklace in water. Chlorine, salt, and soaps can degrade the plating and damage the crystal settings.

What is the primary material of the necklace?

The necklace is crafted with a base metal alloy finished with silver-tone and pink gold-tone plating.

How do I ensure I have an authentic Vivienne Westwood piece?

Authentic pieces include specific hallmark engravings and consistent quality in crystal setting and metal polishing.

Can the chain length be adjusted?

The necklace features a standard closure, but users may use the built-in adjustment rings if provided on the specific chain model.

Troubleshooting

Pendant looks dull after frequent wear

Gently buff the surface with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to remove skin oils and dust.

Clasp feels slightly stiff

Ensure the clasp mechanism is free of residue or debris; a light wipe with a dry cloth often resolves minor mechanical resistance.

Crystal settings may be prone to damage if handled roughly

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Vivienne Westwood necklace remains in pristine condition, avoid contact with perfumes, hairsprays, and lotions, as chemicals in these products can tarnish the plating. When not in use, store the piece in its original box or a soft pouch to prevent scratching from other jewelry. Clean the pendant gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid the use of harsh chemical cleaners or ultrasonic machines, as these can displace the iridescent crystals or strip the finish.
