FAQs
What are the exact dimensions of the basket?
The basket has a diameter of approximately 20cm and a height of 33cm when the handle is in the upright position. The depth of the basket itself is less than the total height.
Can this basket be used for fresh produce?
While it can hold items like Easter eggs or small fruits, it's not ideal for direct contact with unpackaged, perishable produce due to its woven nature. We recommend using a liner or bag for such items.
Is the beige color consistent across all baskets?
The basket is described as beige. Due to the natural material and weaving process, slight variations in color tone may occur.
How much weight can the basket hold?
The basket is designed for decorative items, Easter eggs, or light craft supplies. It is not intended for heavy loads, and excessive weight could compromise the handle or base.
Can I use this basket outdoors?
Yes, for short periods, such as an Easter egg hunt. However, prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight may degrade the bamboo material over time.
Does the handle fold down completely flat?
The handle folds down for easier storage, significantly reducing its profile, but may not lie perfectly flat against the basket base.
Troubleshooting
Basket handle is stiff or difficult to fold/unfold.
Gently work the handle back and forth a few times. If it remains stiff, a very small amount of natural oil (like mineral oil) applied to the hinge point might help, but use sparingly.
Woven material has loose strands.
Carefully trim any loose strands with small scissors. If the weave appears to be unraveling significantly, contact customer support.
Basket has a slight odor upon arrival.
Air the basket out in a well-ventilated area for 24-48 hours. The odor should dissipate.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: No assembly is required. The basket is ready for use straight out of the packaging. The folding handle may need to be gently lifted into its upright position for carrying.
Compatibility: This basket is compatible with a wide range of items, including dry goods, small toys, flowers, plants (ensure pot is stable), and craft supplies. It is not designed for direct contact with unpackaged food items without an inner lining.
Care: To maintain the basket's appearance, wipe it clean with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking the basket in water, as this can damage the bamboo material. Store in a dry place when not in use.
