The DIYUK Hexagon Full Nut M27 is designed for contractors and home enthusiasts who require a robust, reliable fastener for heavy-duty assembly projects. Its primary benefit is high tensile strength, providing exceptional structural security for automotive and construction applications, though users should ensure their bolt threading matches the M27 metric specification before purchase.

M27 refers to the metric diameter of the bolt the nut is designed to fit, which is 27 millimeters.
Yes, provided the thread pitch and grade of the nut match the specifications required by your vehicle's manufacturer.
It features a protective silver finish that is resistant to corrosion, but it is not completely rust-proof if exposed to extreme environmental conditions for long periods.
You will need a large spanner or socket wrench compatible with the hex head size for a standard M27 nut, usually 41mm.
Yes, as long as the threads remain intact and the nut shows no signs of deformation or stress fractures.
Verify the bolt is an M27 size and check the bolt threads for damage or dirt buildup.
Stop immediately, remove the nut, check for cross-threading, and clean the threads before attempting to re-install.
To install, simply hand-thread the nut onto the M27 bolt, then use a calibrated torque wrench or appropriate spanner to tighten until secure. Because the surface is finished in silver, avoid using abrasive wire brushes during maintenance, as these can scratch the protective layer. If the nut is being used in an outdoor environment, occasional cleaning with a damp cloth and a light application of machine oil will help maintain its structural integrity and prevent long-term oxidation.
