FAQs
Can this awning be left out in the rain?
While the fabric is water-resistant, it is intended to provide shade. It should be retracted during heavy rain or storms to prevent damage to the frame.
Is the installation hardware included?
The unit generally comes with standard mounting hardware, but you must ensure your wall type is compatible with the provided fasteners.
Can one person operate the awning?
Yes, the manual crank system is designed for single-person operation.
Does the black fabric fade in the sun?
The fabric is designed with UV-resistance to minimize color fading, though normal exposure over many years may lead to slight color changes.
What is the total height of the unit?
The unit dimensions are 350 x 200 x 165 cm, which accounts for the frame structure and the integrated blind.
Can I mount this on a wooden pergola?
This awning is designed for wall mounting; ensure your support structure is reinforced sufficiently if mounting to wood.
Troubleshooting
Awning fabric appears loose or saggy
Check the arm tension settings and ensure the fabric is evenly rolled across the roller tube.
Difficulty in cranking the mechanism
Ensure there is no debris obstructing the folding arms and apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the joints.
Vertical blind will not extend or retract
Check the blind guide channels for obstructions and ensure the fabric is not caught on the frame.
