The Bossnut has become a popular choice for new riders or those returning to the sport, embodying Calibre's commitment to affordable performance. Initially released with 5 iterations, its popularity grew until production ceased in 2020 due to COVID. After 4 years of redevelopment and testing, we believe we have created the best entry-level performance mountain bike available. It's the bike that your mountain biking friends will recommend to get you hooked on the sport. The original Bossnut developed a cult following, similar to VW Transporter owners' love for their buses, with many riders wanting to upgrade, personalize, and showcase their bikes. Therefore, the new model is built around a robust frame designed to accommodate upgrades and stand the test of time, encouraging riders to join the sport and continue their journey. Key specifications include: Frame: 29” 6061 Alu with boost spacing and 135mm rear travel, featuring tool and bottle bosses. Forks: RockShox Recon Silver RL, 29”, 140mm with stealth boost and 42mm offset. Rear shock: RockShox Deluxe Select R, 210x55. Handlebar: 780mm, 31.8mm, 20mm rise. Stem: 45mm, 31.8mm clamp.
