Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Combination Lock: The default combination is usually 0-0-0. To set your personal code, open the lock (ensure it's on 0-0-0). Locate the reset mechanism (often a small button or switch near the dials, requiring a pen tip or similar to press). While holding the reset mechanism, turn the dials to your desired 3-digit combination. Release the reset mechanism. Test the new combination by opening and closing the lock. Important: Remember your new combination, as resetting is the primary method to open if forgotten.
- Trolley Handle: Extend the handle by pressing the button on top and pulling upwards until it locks into place. To retract, press and hold the button while gently pushing the handle down.
Compatibility:
This suitcase is designed as a general travel holdall. Its 26" size is considered medium and generally complies with most airline carry-on size restrictions for domestic flights, but always check specific airline carry-on and checked baggage size and weight allowances before travel, as these can vary.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the ABS material. Allow to air dry completely.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. To prevent damage or creasing, avoid placing heavy items on top of the suitcase when not in use.
- Wheels & Handle: Periodically check that the wheels spin freely and the trolley handle extends and retracts smoothly. Remove any debris that may be obstructing the wheels. A light application of silicone spray can help maintain smooth operation of the handle mechanism if needed.
