FAQs

Can I use this with a steam generator iron?

This board is designed for standard steam irons; heavy steam generator irons may exceed the weight and storage capacity of the integrated compartment.

How do I store the board?

You can either place it in a cupboard using the folded footprint or use the included hanging hook to store it on the back of a door or wall.

Is the cover machine washable?

While the 100% cotton top layer is durable, we recommend hand washing or spot cleaning to maintain the integrity of the DripLock waterproof base layer.

What are the dimensions when folded?

The board is designed to be highly compact, though specific folded dimensions depend on the unit's orientation; it is intended to fit standard closet depths.

Can I replace the ironing cover?

Yes, the cover is designed to be removable via elastic edges, making it easy to swap or clean when necessary.

Troubleshooting

Board feels unstable during use

Ensure the hinges are fully locked into the open position and the board is on a completely flat, level surface.

Cover is loose or shifting

Check that the elasticated edges are pulled taut and properly tucked under the frame of the board.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Ultra-compact storage footprint
Full-size ironing surface dimensions
Integrated secure iron storage
Moisture-proof DripLock cover technology

Cons

Requires manual folding steps
Not intended for heavy-duty industrial ironing loads
Requires specific wall mount area for optional hook storage

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the board, simply release the locking mechanism and unfold the two sections until the frame clicks into a rigid, stable position. The unit is compatible with most standard household steam irons, which can be placed in the integrated compartment during cooling. Care for the board is minimal: wipe the frame with a damp cloth if needed. The cover features elasticated edges, allowing it to be easily removed for cleaning or replacement. Always ensure the board is completely dry before folding it for long-term storage to prevent any mold or fabric damage.
