Yes, it is designed with a secure seal system and micro-zippers to be fully bed bug entry and escape proof.
Yes, it uses air vapour porous fabric that allows air to circulate while remaining waterproof.
It is recommended to wash the encasement every 1-2 months to maintain hygiene and remove accumulated allergens.
No, this is a protective encasement meant to be placed under your standard fitted sheet.
The encasement is designed for standard depths; if your mattress is extra deep, ensure you check the side-wall dimensions before installation.
Ensure the mattress is pushed fully into the corners of the encasement before zipping; avoid pulling the fabric too tightly to prevent zipper jamming.
Wash the protector before the first use to soften the fabric fibers; ensure the protector is pulled taut across the mattress surface to minimize bunching.
To install the encasement, strip your mattress of all bedding, lift it off the frame, and slide it into the encasement like a large pillowcase. Zip the three-sided closure completely, ensuring the allergen flaps are tucked securely. This model is sized for standard Double mattresses at 1350(W) x 1900(L)mm. For care, machine wash the encasement in warm water and tumble dry on a medium setting. Do not use bleach or iron the product to preserve the integrity of the waterproof membrane.
