Product Information

Full details

The Matrix Torque Carp X Power Pole is engineered for serious anglers who target large carp or navigate snaggy swims where extreme rod strength and structural integrity are paramount. By utilizing high-density X-Graphene reinforced carbon, this pole provides the reliable backbone needed for high-pressure situations, though its focus on brute strength means it is slightly heavier than dedicated finesse poles at 840g.

FAQs

Is this pole compatible with my older Matrix Torque top kits?

Yes, all Torque range top kits are fully compatible with the Torque Carp X pole.

What is the weight of the 11.5m model?

The total weight of the pole is 840g.

Can I use this for general silverfish fishing?

While it can be used for any species, its design is optimized for power and large fish, making it heavier than specialized match poles.

What size elastic fits the PTFE bush?

The pole comes with a 4.8mm internal PTFE bush, which is designed to accept heavy-duty hollow elastics.

What is included in the package?

The package includes the pole, 3 top kits, 1 cupping kit, a mini strike section, and a fabric pole sleeve.

How long is the pole when packed down?

The storage length of the sections is 180cm.

Troubleshooting

Pole sections feel sticky while shipping

Clean the sections thoroughly with a soft cloth and apply a dedicated pole finish spray or lubricant to restore the glide effect.

Elastic bunching inside the top kit

Check the internal 4.8mm PTFE bush for any nicks or burrs that could be catching the elastic; replace the bush if necessary.

Difficulty unshipping sections

Ensure sections are aligned correctly and avoid pushing them together too tightly. If jammed, gently twist while pulling rather than applying direct force.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maximize the life of your pole, ensure all sections are wiped down with a clean, dry cloth after every session to remove grit and lake silt that can damage the glide finish. The pole is supplied in a durable fabric sleeve; always store it in a cool, dry place to prevent carbon degradation.

Compatibility is a key advantage of this model: the Torque Carp X is fully compatible with all other Torque top kits. When setting up, ensure your elastic is matched to the 4.8mm PTFE bush to avoid internal friction. Always use the provided cupping kit for baiting to preserve the accuracy and integrity of your primary fishing top kits.
