Full details
This Bristan EVO Shower Kit in Chrome is designed for homeowners looking to upgrade their showering experience with a stylish and functional addition. Its key benefit is providing a versatile, multi-function shower with water-saving capabilities and easy maintenance. A potential caveat is the 8L/min flow limiter, which might require adjustment for users accustomed to higher flow rates. This kit includes an easy-clean hose, adjustable fixing brackets, a multi-function handset with rub-clean anti-limescale features, a hose retainer, and a toiletry shelf, all finished in durable chrome.

FAQs
Can I remove the 8L/min flow limiter if I want higher water flow?
The flow limiter is designed for water efficiency. While it can be removed, this may affect the shower's performance and is not recommended by the manufacturer. Consult your plumbing professional if you have specific pressure requirements.
What is the length of the shower hose?
The kit includes a 1.5m easy-clean hose.
How do I adjust the height of the shower handset?
The height is adjusted by repositioning the adjustable fixing brackets along the shower rail. The rail itself is fixed, but the brackets allow for vertical adjustment within their range.
Is this shower kit suitable for a gravity-fed system?
Yes, the Bristan EVO Shower Kit is suitable for all plumbing systems, including low-pressure systems like gravity fed, provided the minimum operating pressure of 0.5 bar is met.
What warranty does this product come with?
The Bristan EVO Shower Kit comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
How do I clean the anti-limescale handset?
Simply rub the surface of the handset gently with your finger or a soft cloth. The flexible nozzles will release any limescale buildup.
What are the dimensions of the toiletry shelf?
Specific dimensions are not provided, but it is designed to hold standard-sized toiletries like shampoo and soap bottles.
Troubleshooting
Low water flow from handset
Check the 8L/min flow limiter is correctly installed and not obstructed. Ensure the shower hose is not kinked. Clean the handset's rub-clean nozzles. Verify water pressure meets the minimum requirement (0.5 bar).
Inconsistent spray pattern
Clean the rub-clean anti-limescale nozzles on the handset. Check the hose for any internal blockages.
Hose leaking at connection points
Ensure the hose is securely tightened at both the handset and the valve connection. Check that the rubber washers are present and correctly seated within the fittings.
Fixing brackets feel loose
Ensure the wall plugs are appropriate for your wall type and are firmly inserted. Tighten the screws securing the brackets to the wall.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
