Setup, Compatibility & Care
This section provides essential information for assembling, placing, and maintaining your Shatchi Christmas Tree.
Setup Instructions
The Shatchi 6Ft Prelit Green Alaskan Pine Christmas Tree features a `wrapped` construction, which simplifies assembly significantly.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all tree sections and the stand from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present.
- Assemble the Stand: Open the metal stand and insert the provided eye bolt, tightening it securely to form a stable base.
- Insert Tree Sections: Begin by placing the largest tree section (typically the bottom section, marked accordingly) into the assembled stand. Tighten the eye bolt further to secure it.
- Connect Upper Sections: Insert the middle section into the top of the bottom section, aligning the connection points. Repeat for the top section.
- Fluff the Branches: Once all sections are connected, begin to 'fluff' the branches. Starting from the bottom, gently separate and spread out individual tips on each branch. Work your way up the tree, shaping the branches to fill any gaps and create a full, natural appearance. This step is crucial for achieving the tree's best look.
- Connect Lights & Power: Ensure all internal light connections between sections are secure. Plug the tree's power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Use the integrated controller to select your desired light mode.
Compatibility
- Power Requirements: The integrated LED lights are designed to operate with standard household electrical outlets. No special wiring or adapters are typically needed.
- Indoor Use: This tree is intended for indoor use only. Exposure to outdoor elements can damage the lights and materials.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care will ensure your Shatchi Christmas Tree remains a beautiful part of your holiday celebrations for many years.
- Cleaning: To clean dust from the tree, use a soft, dry cloth or a duster. For light dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used on the PVC tips, but ensure the lights are unplugged and completely dry before plugging back in.
- Disassembly: When the holiday season ends, unplug the tree. Reverse the assembly steps, gently compressing the branches as you remove each section. Be careful not to pull or twist the light wires excessively.
- Storage: Store the tree in its original box or a dedicated artificial tree storage bag. Choose a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent material degradation and preserve the integrity of the lights. Ensure the tree is completely dry before storing.
