Setup, Compatibility & Care

Preparation: Choose a location that receives full sun and ensure the soil is well-drained and raked to a fine tilth.
Sowing: Sow seeds thinly at a depth of 6mm, spacing drills 15cm apart. Ensure the soil covers the seeds to exclude light, as this is necessary for germination.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells or if the weather is particularly hot after sowing.
Maintenance: Once seedlings reach a handleable size, thin them out to 15cm apart to provide adequate airflow and root space.
Long-term Care: Regularly remove faded flowers (deadheading) to encourage the plant to put energy into new blooms rather than seed production.
