Troubleshooting

Toilet not flushing correctly

Check the water level in the cistern. Ensure the flush mechanism is clean and unobstructed. Verify the water supply to the cistern is adequate.

Basin tap drips or leaks

Tighten the connections to the flexible tails. If dripping persists, the internal cartridge may need replacement (refer to tap manufacturer for specific parts).

Shower temperature fluctuates significantly

Ensure correct water pressure from both hot and cold supplies. Check for any blockages in the shower head or internal filters. The thermostatic valve may require servicing if the issue persists.

Bath screen is unstable

Verify all fixing points are securely tightened. Ensure the bath is level and stable. Consult the screen's installation manual for any specific support requirements.

Bath panel does not fit flush

Check that the bath is correctly installed and level. Ensure the bath legs are properly adjusted. The panel may require minor trimming if the bath installation is slightly uneven, though it is designed to be cut to size.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

Installation of this suite should be performed by a qualified plumber. Ensure all connections are made according to local plumbing regulations.

  • Toilet: The close-coupled toilet requires connection to the water supply and waste outlet. The soft-close seat can be installed after the main unit is fixed.
  • Basin & Pedestal: The pedestal supports the basin and should be secured to the floor. Connect the basin mixer tap and waste to the basin, then connect the water supply and waste.
  • Bath: The bath requires connection to a waste and overflow system. Ensure the adjustable leg set is used for proper levelling and stability.
  • Shower: The thermostatic dual exposed mixer shower connects directly to hot and cold water supplies. Ensure proper sealing to prevent leaks.
  • Screen: The bath shower screen attaches to the edge of the bath and potentially the wall for stability. Follow the specific mounting instructions provided with the screen.

Compatibility:

  • Taps: The basin has a single tap hole suitable for a standard basin mixer tap. The bath is designed to accommodate a bath shower mixer tap.
  • Plumbing: Standard UK plumbing connections are assumed. Ensure your existing pipework is compatible.
  • Water Pressure: For optimal performance of the thermostatic shower, ensure adequate hot and cold water pressure. Refer to shower manufacturer guidelines for recommended pressure.

Care:

  • Cleaning: Clean ceramic surfaces (toilet and basin) with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the gloss finish.
  • Glass Screen: Use a glass cleaner or a mixture of vinegar and water on the easy-clean coating. Wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
  • Metal Finishes: Wipe brushed brass components with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.
  • Bath Panel: The MDF bath panel can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is dried thoroughly if it gets wet.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically check all connections for leaks and ensure the toilet seat hinges are clean and functioning smoothly.
