Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before application, ensure the surface is entirely free of oil, grease, wax, and loose rust. Use a degreaser or metal cleaner to prepare the substrate. The primer is best applied in thin, even coats, allowing sufficient drying time between layers according to ambient temperature. Always perform a test spray on a scrap piece of metal if you are unsure about the compatibility with your specific topcoat. Once the primer is fully cured and sanded, it is ready to be top-coated. Store the container in a cool, dry place and ensure the lid is sealed tightly after every use to prevent skinning or drying inside the can.
