Stugeron Tablets are used for the prevention of travel sickness. Each tablet contains the active ingredient cinnarizine and helps with symptoms caused by balance or movement issues, such as motion sickness in adults and children over 5 years old. Stugeron Tablets can also treat dizziness, light-headedness, and ringing in the ears. It is important to speak to your doctor before using these tablets if you have Parkinson’s disease, liver or kidney problems, or a blood problem called ‘porphyria’. Do not use if you are allergic to cinnarizine or any other ingredients, or if the child is under 5 years old. To help prevent motion sickness, try reducing motion by sitting in the front of a car or middle of a boat, looking straight ahead, breathing fresh air, closing your eyes and breathing slowly, distracting children, or taking breaks on long journeys. Consuming ginger may also help. Stugeron contains Cinnarizine, while Avomine contains promethazine; both treat travel sickness but cannot be taken together. Stugeron 15 Mg Tablets may be prescribed for short periods to treat dizziness in patients with Labyrinthitis.
