Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Assembly: The Outback Jupiter requires approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to assemble and is recommended for two people. Ensure all components are laid out and identified before starting. Follow the provided instruction manual closely, paying attention to the connection of gas lines and burner assemblies.
Compatibility: This BBQ is designed to use standard patio gas (LPG) cylinders. Ensure your gas cylinder is compatible and securely connected using the appropriate regulator (typically supplied with the gas cylinder). The multi-cook grill system is compatible with optional accessories such as a pizza stone, wok, or griddle, which are sold separately.
Care: To maintain the longevity and performance of your Jupiter BBQ:
- After Each Use: Once cooled, clean the grates with a wire brush. Empty the single-layer drip tray of grease and debris.
- Regular Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water. The porcelain-coated cast iron grill and multi-cook accessories should be seasoned and cleaned according to their specific instructions.
- Storage: During off-season or extended periods of non-use, it is recommended to cover the BBQ with a protective cover to shield it from the elements. Store gas cylinders in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Burner Maintenance: Periodically check the burner ports for blockages and clean them gently with a soft brush if necessary.
