Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare your jars for first use, wash them thoroughly in warm soapy water and rinse well. Do not pour boiling water directly into the jars, as this can cause thermal shock and lead to cracking. When filling, leave a small amount of headspace at the top of the jar to allow for expansion.
To ensure the rubber seal functions correctly, always check that the rim of the glass jar is free from chips and food debris. If the seal becomes stiff or brittle after long-term use, replace it with a new rubber ring of the correct size to maintain the airtight integrity of your jars.
