Full details

The Davines LOVE Curl Cream is designed for individuals with waves and curls seeking enhanced definition, hydration, and control. Its key benefit is providing up to 72 hours of frizz control and nourishment, leaving curls soft, bouncy, and manageable. A minor caveat is its lightweight hold, which may not be sufficient for those needing very strong curl setting.

FAQs

Can I use Davines LOVE Curl Cream on straight hair?

While designed for waves and curls, it can add moisture and smoothness to straight hair. However, it will not create curl and may weigh fine straight hair down if too much is used.

How long does the frizz control last?

The cream provides up to 72 hours of frizz control under normal conditions.

Is this product suitable for color-treated hair?

Yes, the formula is gentle and suitable for use on color-treated hair.

Does the cream provide heat protection?

The product description does not specifically mention heat protection. It is recommended to use a separate heat protectant if you plan to use heat styling tools.

How much product should I use?

Start with a small amount (e.g., a dime-sized portion) and add more only if needed. The exact amount depends on your hair's length, thickness, and curl pattern.

Can this cream be used on dry hair?

It is best applied to towel-dried, damp hair for optimal distribution and results. Applying to dry hair may result in uneven application and a less defined finish.

What does 'certified regenerative baobab pulp' mean?

It refers to the baobab pulp extract used in the formula, which is sourced sustainably and helps in retaining moisture within the hair, contributing to hydration and elasticity.

Troubleshooting

Curls feel slightly stiff

You may have used too much product. Try using a smaller amount next time or dampen your hands slightly and smooth over the hair to relax the hold.

Product doesn't seem to tame frizz

Ensure the product is applied evenly from mid-lengths to ends. For very frizzy hair, consider layering with a stronger hold product or using on fully damp hair before styling.

Hair feels heavy or greasy

You might be using too much product, or it's not being distributed evenly. Start with a very small amount and add more if needed. Ensure it's applied primarily to the hair strands, not the scalp.
