The planter is made from metal, designed to be rust-resistant and suitable for outdoor use.

Is this planter suitable for all weather conditions?

How do I clean the planter?

Clean the planter by wiping it with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaning materials.

What are the dimensions of the Large planter?

The Large planter has dimensions of Height/Width/Depth: 45cm / 80cm / 45cm.

The product description does not explicitly state pre-drilled holes. It is recommended to ensure adequate drainage, either by using a layer of gravel or by drilling small holes in the base if necessary.

Troubleshooting

Planter color fades significantly over time.

Ensure the planter is not exposed to direct, prolonged sunlight for excessive periods if fading is observed. While UV stable, extreme conditions can still have minor effects. Clean with a damp cloth to restore appearance.

Water pooling at the bottom of the planter.

Verify that drainage holes are present and clear of obstruction. If no holes exist, carefully drill a few small holes in the base. Add a layer of gravel at the bottom before adding soil to improve drainage.

Difficulty moving the planter when filled.

Plant the planter in its final location or use a plant caddy or dolly for easier relocation once filled with soil and plants. Planting it in stages can also help.

  • Classic and elegant design enhances outdoor decor.
  • Suitable for year-round outdoor use due to weather resistance.

Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the planter from its packaging.
  2. Placement: Choose the desired location for your planter. Due to its lightweight nature, it can be moved before planting.
  3. Drainage: Ensure the planter has adequate drainage. If there are no pre-drilled holes, consider drilling a few small holes in the base to prevent waterlogging, or use a layer of gravel at the bottom.
  4. Planting: Fill with appropriate potting mix and plant your chosen shrubs, flowers, or small trees.

Compatibility:

  • Soil Types: Compatible with standard potting mixes suitable for outdoor plants.
  • Plant Types: Suitable for a wide range of outdoor plants, including shrubs, small trees, flowering plants, and ornamental grasses. Consider the mature size of the plant relative to the planter dimensions (Large: H/W/D cm: 45/80/45).

Care:

  • Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.
  • Maintenance: The rust-resistant and UV-stable properties mean minimal maintenance is required. Periodically check for debris that might obstruct drainage.
  • Winter Care: While frost resistant, ensure drainage holes are clear to prevent ice expansion damage. Emptying the planter during extreme freeze-thaw cycles is optional but can add an extra layer of protection.
