Troubleshooting

Device is not tracking hand gestures correctly

Ensure your environment is well-lit and that your hands are within the sensor's line of sight; wipe the external camera lenses with a clean, dry cloth.

Visuals appear blurry or out of focus

Adjust the fit dial to reposition the headset on your face and re-run the eye-tracking calibration in the system settings.

Headset feels too heavy during use

Re-adjust the rear cushion and tighten the forehead strap to distribute the weight more evenly across the crown of your head.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using your Galaxy XR, first ensure the headset is charged using the included power adapter. Place the device over your eyes and use the precision fit dial at the rear to tighten the headband until the device feels secure but not pressured against your forehead. Use the side-mounted cushions to balance the weight. Calibrate your eye-tracking in the settings menu during the initial 'Onboarding' phase to ensure precise input accuracy. Keep the micro-OLED lenses clean by using a dry, lint-free microfiber cloth; avoid liquid cleaners or abrasive materials as they may damage the specialized lens coating. Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to protect the internal sensors.
