FAQs

How often should I wash the jacket?

Wash the jacket only when necessary. Excessive washing can degrade the down filling. Spot clean any stains that may appear.

Can I iron the jacket?

No, do not iron the jacket. The heat can damage the polyester fabric. If needed, you can use a steamer on a low setting.

What kind of detergent should I use?

Use a mild detergent specifically designed for down jackets. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.

How do I store the jacket during the off-season?

Store the jacket in a breathable garment bag in a cool, dry place. Avoid compressing it to maintain the loft of the down filling.

What should I do if the hood gets wet?

Allow the hood to air dry completely before storing the jacket. If it gets very wet, you may want to tumble dry it on low heat.

Is the jacket waterproof?

The jacket is water-resistant due to the polyester exterior, but it is not fully waterproof. It can withstand light rain and snow, but prolonged exposure to heavy rain may allow water to penetrate.

Troubleshooting

The jacket is losing its loft and warmth.

Wash and dry the jacket according to the care instructions. The tennis balls in the dryer will help restore the loft.

The down is clumping together.

Ensure the jacket is completely dry after washing. Gently massage the clumps to redistribute the down.
