The exact weight capacity depends on the wall type and the fixings used during installation. Ensure you use appropriate hardware for your wall to achieve maximum stability.
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
This guide specifically covers the Dark Oak finish. Please refer to other product listings for available sizes or different finish options.
The shelf itself is a single piece. The main 'assembly' involves securely mounting the hidden brackets to your wall and then sliding the shelf onto them.
Ensure the mounting brackets are securely fastened to the wall with appropriate fixings for your wall type. Double-check that the shelf is fully seated on the brackets.
Gently clean the surface with a slightly damp cloth. For minor scratches, a wood polish designed for dark oak finishes might help. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Ensure you are using the correct drill bit size for your screws and wall anchors. Use a spirit level to mark bracket positions accurately before drilling.
Setup: Ensure you have appropriate wall fixings for your wall type (e.g., drywall anchors, masonry plugs). Follow the included instructions to securely attach the mounting brackets to the wall. Once brackets are fixed, slide the shelf onto the brackets, ensuring a snug fit. It is recommended to have a spirit level to ensure the shelf is mounted straight.
Compatibility: This shelf is designed to be mounted on most standard wall types. The load-bearing capacity will vary depending on the fixings used and the integrity of the wall.
Care: To maintain the finish, dust regularly with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the wood and finish. For spills, wipe immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Periodically check that the shelf remains securely fixed to the wall.
