FAQs

What is the 'OLD' effect?

The 'OLD' effect is a special garment dyeing and fading treatment applied after the garment is constructed. It results in a unique, slightly worn, and three-dimensional appearance.

Is the color variation normal?

Yes, due to the unique dyeing process, each garment may have slight variations in color and intensity, contributing to its individual character.

What material is the sweatshirt made of?

It is made from malfilé cotton fleece, offering warmth and durability.

How should I wash this hoodie?

Machine wash cold (30°C) on a gentle cycle with like colors. Use a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low or hang dry.

Can this hoodie be worn in very cold weather?

The cotton fleece provides warmth, making it suitable for cooler temperatures, but it is best layered for very cold conditions.

What does 'malfilé' mean?

Malfilé refers to a type of yarn that creates a textured, slightly irregular appearance in the fabric, contributing to the overall look and feel of the fleece.

Troubleshooting

Color seems uneven or faded

This is an intended characteristic of the 'OLD' effect garment dyeing. It is not a defect but a part of the unique aesthetic.

Shrinkage after washing

Follow the recommended cold wash and hang dry or low heat tumble dry instructions carefully. Avoid hot water.

Material feels stiff

The malfilé fleece can be stiff initially. It will soften with subsequent washes and wear, following the care instructions.
