FAQs
Are these gloves suitable for cold weather?
The Fox Flexair gloves are designed for breathability and warmth is minimal. They are best suited for mild to warm riding conditions. For colder weather, consider insulated gloves.
How do I determine my size?
Refer to the sizing chart provided by Fox Head Clothing. Measure the circumference of your palm and the length of your middle finger, then compare these measurements to the chart.
Can I wash these gloves in a washing machine?
It is recommended to hand wash the gloves with mild soap and cold water to preserve the materials and touchscreen functionality. Avoid machine washing and drying.
What is the primary benefit of the minimalist design?
The minimalist design provides an exceptional bar feel, allowing for greater precision and control over the handlebars, making the gloves feel like a natural extension of your hands.
How durable are the Flexair gloves?
The gloves are constructed with durable materials like nylon and polyurethane for performance riding. However, their lightweight and minimalist nature means they may not offer the same level of abrasion resistance as heavier, more protective gloves in extreme crash scenarios.
Do the gloves offer any wrist protection?
The gloves feature a low-profile slip-on neoprene cuff that provides a secure fit. They do not offer rigid wrist protection; their focus is on feel and flexibility.
Troubleshooting
Touchscreen not responding
Ensure the palm area is clean and dry. Make sure the conductive thread areas are making direct contact with the screen.
Gloves feel too tight or restrictive
The gloves are designed for a close fit. Try a different size if discomfort persists. Ensure the cuff is positioned correctly on the wrist.
Reduced grip over time
Clean the silicone grip details on the palm with a damp cloth and allow to air dry. Avoid using oils or solvents.
