Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the surface where the hook will be applied is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or any residues. Most smooth surfaces like painted walls, tiles, glass, or finished wood are suitable. Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive. Press the hook firmly onto the desired location for at least 30 seconds to ensure a secure bond. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before hanging items.
Compatibility: These hooks are best suited for smooth, non-porous surfaces. They may not adhere effectively to wallpaper, rough plaster, concrete, or heavily textured paints. Ensure the surface is stable and can support the weight of the item to be hung.
Care: To clean the hooks, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, which could degrade the adhesive over time. If removal is necessary, gently pry the hook from the surface, pulling slowly and steadily. Residual adhesive can typically be removed with rubbing alcohol or a dedicated adhesive remover, applied carefully to the surface.
