Setup, Compatibility & Care
Upon arrival, unroll the rug in your desired location and allow it to settle for 24 to 48 hours; if the edges curl, gently reverse-roll them to flatten. For routine care, avoid using a standard beater-bar vacuum, as the high-pile fibers can become tangled and damaged. Instead, shake the rug outdoors periodically to remove loose debris, or use a suction-only vacuum attachment. In case of spills, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth—do not rub, as this can force liquids deeper into the base. For long-term maintenance, professional cleaning is recommended to preserve the integrity of the hand-woven fibers.
