FAQs

What is the total power output of the MG740PLUS?

The bike features dual 1000W motors, providing a total combined output of 2000W.

Can this bike handle steep inclines?

Yes, the bike is designed to tackle a maximum climbing angle of 40 degrees.

How does the star gear arrangement help?

The star gear arrangement is designed to enhance torque and improve the energy conversion efficiency of the motors.

Is this bike suitable for off-road riding?

Yes, the MG740PLUS is specifically engineered with a durable frame and twin-drive system to handle off-road mountain terrain.

Does the dual motor system affect battery life?

Yes, using both motors at maximum capacity will drain the battery faster than using a single motor or lower assist levels.

Troubleshooting

Uneven power delivery from motors

Check that the controller settings are synchronized and ensure all electrical connectors between the battery and the dual motors are securely seated.

Reduced climbing power

Verify the battery is fully charged and check tire pressure; low tire pressure increases rolling resistance significantly on inclines.

Pros and Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Proper setup of the MG740PLUS involves ensuring the dual motor controllers are calibrated for synchronized power delivery. Before your first ride, verify that all frame bolts are tightened to manufacturer specifications and that the tire pressure is adjusted for your specific terrain—lower pressure is generally better for trail grip. For care, keep the battery contacts free of moisture and debris. Regularly inspect the motor connections and the star gear housing for signs of wear. Store the bike in a cool, dry environment and ensure the battery is charged periodically even during months of inactivity to maintain cell health.
